Pricing: Pricing is based on a minimum of eight guests and a maximum of twenty. Events with less than eight guests will have private class pricing applied at a higher rate. Any events over twenty guests will require customized pricing. Events booked with over 20 guests will include a catering component within the class fee. Classes with 15 guests and under will include a chef’s helper for $150 for five hours including gratuity. Any classes with over 15 guests will require additional serving staff x 5 hours @ $25 per hour plus 20% gratuity.
Menus: All menus must be finalized at time of last payment. Some dishes can be modified or substituted for vegetarians, vegans and food allergies but will incur a surcharge. Any substitutions or menu amendments must be made at the time of final payment, any last minute changes could incur additional charges and La Diva Cucina will do their best to accommodate you.
Bookings and Deposits:
Bookings: La Diva Cucina gets inquires daily for classes and events so it’s in your best interest to notify La Diva Cucina as soon as possible dates for bookings. Bookings may be held tentatively but are only secured once a deposit is paid.
Deposits for events: A 50% estimated deposit is due at time of booking to secure the date.
Final payment: Final payment for your event is due 5 business days prior to your event date. If a booking is made less than two weeks before the event, event must be paid in full at time of booking.
Payment methods: All prices quoted are based on a cash/check purchase. Cash, check or PayPal accepted only, all client’s wanting to pay using PayPal will be assessed a non cash payment of 3% per the amount of transaction.
Other charges: Late Start: If guests are late and the event starts 1/2 hour after agreed upon time, a $50 fee will be incurred and must be paid before the class starts. If the event starts an hour after agreed time, the fee is an additional $100 or more based on the number of staff at the event. Staff has been secured for a set time and must be paid for any extra time incurred due to late starts.
Holidays: Events held on national holidays incur a 25% charge.
Rush fee: Events that are booked less than a 10 day window will incur a 25% rush fee.
Loading: There is a loading fee MINIMUM of $200 for all events held off premise to set up a portable kitchen including transport/set up/break down and supplies. Events located outside of a 20 mile radius of Miami Beach or events with over 20 guests will incur a higher loading fee.
Cancellation by Client:
All prepayments and deposits are forfeited if you, the client, cancel the event at any time. La Diva Cucina will apply the entire balance of your deposits and prepayments, less $500.00 towards another event occurring within 90 days of the original event date. Subject to our availability. All costs are subject to change.
Cancellation by La Diva Cucina: La Diva Cucina reserves the right to terminate this contract for any reason. If La Diva Cucina terminates this contract over 30 days prior to your event date, all deposits and prepayments will be returned in full within 10 days.
Cancellation by venue or acts of god: All prepayments and deposits are forfeited if the event is cancelled by your venue or acts of god (i.e. fire, flood, hurricane, etc.) that would prevent La Diva Cucina from performing your event as agreed. La Diva Cucina will apply the entire balance of your deposits and prepayments, less $500.00 towards another event occurring within 90 days of the original event date. Subject to our availability. All costs are subject to change.
Damage: La Diva Cucina assumes no responsibility for ANY damage or loss of any merchandise, alcohol, equipment, furniture, clothing or other valuables prior to, during or after the event. We will do everything possible to ensure that all of your supplies, rentals and equipment are cared for and maintained in good working order and without any damage.
La Diva Cucina Lability: La Diva Cucina’s only liability, for third party claims, will be for actions caused by La Diva Cucina and/or the negligent conduct of it’s employees.
Third Party Liability: La Diva Cucina assumes no responsibility for the conduct of guests, members and third parties hired to provide services.
Responsible Service: Everyone attending a La Diva Cucina Inc. mixology class must be 21 or over. La Diva Cucina Inc. assumes no responsibility for anyone attending the event getting intoxicated. Every person attending is responsible for their own drinking limits.
Assignability: This contract is not assignable without the written consent of La Diva Cucina Inc.
Final guest count: Final guest count is due 5 business days prior to your event date. If there is a reduction in the number of guests, higher rates will apply. If you need to increase your guest count, within 5 days of your event date, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.
Guest Count Coverage: You will be charged only for the contracted number of guests. If more guests are attending and La Diva Cucina was required to purchase more food and/ or beverages to accommodate you for your event, additional charges will apply.
Guest Count Reduction: If your final guest count is reduced 10% or more than your latest estimated guest count, your event cost MAY increase proportionally (based on our present prices).
Prices quoted in proposal are valid TWO WEEKS from issue date only.
La Diva Cucina carries liability insurance.
